These air conditioners are popular in hotel room and school classroom applications. All heating and cooling components are housed in a single console mounted in or adjacent to an outside wall. These systems are lower first cost than most other types of air conditioning systems while offering the flexibility of individualized room comfort.

Trane engineers have worked to incorporate a higher level of energy efficiency and quieter operation, which are important factors to consider when selecting heating and air conditioning to suit the demands of today's customer in many different businesses:

All units are designed and built to enhance efficiency, quiet operation, and simplicity. Their remarkable efficiency with industry-leading EERs of 9.6 to 12.5 will lower energy and operating costs.

These heat pumps and air conditioners are available with electric or hydronic heat in 208/230 or 265/277 volt models with nominal cooling capacities of 7,000, 9,000, 12,000 and 15,000 Btuh. Hydronic heat is also available in 115V models with nominal cooling capacities of 7,000, 9,000, and 12,000 Btuh.
