Commercial Packaged Cooling

With an air-cooled packaged cooling system the air moving fan – refrigeration system is contained in one weatherproof enclosure located outdoors. Conditioned air is conveyed and distributed to the interior of a home or building by employing a duct system. Packaged cooling systems may have provisions to add some types of heating (electric, steam, hot water…etc.) but are factory shipped to perform cooling only operation. Advantages of packaged systems include quieter operation (because all moving parts are located outdoors), no loss of building square footage to house the unit and often lower installed first cost. Air-cooled packaged systems range in sizes from 1� – 130 nominal tons cooling capacity.
